About O.Yordanov
At the age of 14 Oggy Yordanov started assisting his father at his film production company in native Bulgaria, where he acquired hands-on experience in filming, still imaging, editing and retouching.
In 2001 he moved to London and focused on photography through assisting and freelancing on various media projects. First breakthrough came in 2005 with his work Meduza featured in the Inspired By... group show at the prestigeous Victoria and Albert Museum London. More shows followed in Milan, Los Angeles, Sofia, London and Manchester. Over the past 7 years his work has been published in a number of international publications and last year saw the release of his first book "NEW CLUB KIDS: London Party Fashion in the Noughties" in which he documents the revival of the club-kid phenomenon over the past decade in London. Since 2010 Yordanov turned his focus back to the moving image and he currently works on a number Fashion and Art Film projects. In February 2012 his fashion film INTERCAPEDONEMVS premierred at Somerset House as part of the Laura Theiss show during London Fashion Week.
